1. Definitions and Interpretation

"Account" means the unique account You open with the Website;

The "Agreement/Terms" means these Terms and Conditions;

“Games” means any and all games / offerings by Us.

“Software" means any software owned by or licensed to us that must be downloaded in order for you to participate at the Website;

"Website" means www.kbet.ng or any derivative thereof;

"Your Jurisdiction" means the jurisdiction in which you are domiciled, reside or work.

“You/Your” and also referred to as “Customer”, means any person who enters the Website and participates in any “Games” provided by Us.

1.1. Maximum Payouts

KBET applies maximum payout limits per sport, market, and customer category. These limits may vary and are determined at KBET’s discretion.

For combination (multiple/accumulator) bets, the total payout will be capped in accordance with the lowest applicable maximum limit among the selections included in the bet.

Customers are responsible for familiarising themselves with the applicable payout limits prior to placing any wager.

1.2. Dead-Heat Rule

Where two or more selections share a tied result (dead-heat), winnings will be calculated on a proportional basis.

The total stake will be divided by the number of tied outcomes, and only the resulting portion will be settled as a winning bet.

1.3. Pricing & Acceptance of Bets

All odds, lines, and handicaps are subject to change and are only confirmed once a bet has been successfully accepted by KBET.

KBET reserves the right to:

·  Decline any bet in full or in part; and

·  Cancel or amend bets where acceptance occurred under incorrect conditions.

In the event of a clear and obvious error (“manifest error”), including but not limited to:

·   Incorrect odds, spreads, or handicaps;

·   Markets that should have been suspended or unavailable;

·   Technical or system-related malfunctions.

KBET reserves the right to:

·    Void the affected bet (in full or in part); or

·    Re-settle the bet at the correct terms that should have applied at the time of placement.

Where reasonably possible, KBET may provide the customer with an opportunity to re-place the bet at the correct terms.

1.4. Erroneous Settlements and Account Adjustments

If any bet is settled incorrectly or funds are credited in error, KBET reserves the right to:

·    Reverse or adjust the settlement;

·    Recover any overpaid amounts; and

·     Void any subsequent bets placed using incorrectly credited funds.

Customers are required to promptly notify KBET of any discrepancies identified in their account.

1.5. Event Timing and Validity

·    Bets placed after an event has commenced will be void, unless placed within a designated live-betting market.

·     If an event is postponed, bets will remain valid if the event takes place within the following calendar day. Failing this, all affected bets will be void.

1.6. Abandoned or Interrupted Events

Where an event is abandoned or not completed:

·    Markets that have already been conclusively determined will be settled accordingly;

·    All other unsettled markets will be declared void.

1.7. Related Contingencies

KBET does not accept bets that combine selections where the outcome of one directly influences the outcome of another within the same event.

Such bets may be declined or voided at KBET’s discretion.

1.8. Participation and Insider Restrictions

Bets placed by individuals directly or indirectly involved in an event (e.g. players, coaches, officials) are strictly prohibited.

KBET reserves the right to void such bets and take further action where necessary.

1.9. Collusion and Syndicated Betting

KBET strictly prohibits coordinated betting activity.

Where there is reasonable suspicion of:

·        Collusion between customers;

·        Structured or repeated betting designed to circumvent limits; or

·        Syndicate betting activity,

KBET reserves the right to:

·        Void all related bets;

·        Aggregate bets and apply a single maximum payout limit; and

·        Restrict or suspend the accounts involved.

1.10. Integrity of Events

Where there are reasonable grounds to believe that:

·    The integrity of an event has been compromised; or

·    Match manipulation or irregular betting patterns are present,

KBET may suspend markets, withhold settlements, and/or declare affected bets void pending investigation.

1.11. Data Accuracy and System Records

While KBET endeavours to ensure the accuracy of all event-related information (including fixtures, times, and results), errors may occur.

In the event of any dispute, KBET’s official system records will serve as the final and authoritative source.

1.12. Limitation of Liability

KBET shall not be held liable for losses arising from:

·      Technical errors or system failures;

·      Incorrect information displayed; or

·      Any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

2.2.  By accessing, registering on, or using our website, mobile application, or any of our gambling services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. 3. Customer Legal Requirements (KBET)

3.2. By using our Services, you acknowledge that participation is entirely at your own discretion, choice, and risk. You agree that you are acting on your own behalf and that any activity that breaches these Terms is strictly prohibited.

3.3. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and accept that gambling involves the risk of financial loss. You are solely responsible for any losses incurred, and you agree that you shall have no claim against KBET, its partners, directors, officers, or employees in respect of such losses.

3.4. By registering an account or using our Services, you confirm that you will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutes governing your use of the Platform. 4. Customer Accounts

4.1.  Registering a New Account

To access our Services, you are required to create an account. As part of the registration process, you will need to provide certain personal information, which may include your mobile number, full legal name, and other relevant details. If any of the information provided is found to be inaccurate or incomplete, you may be required to update or correct it upon request.

4.2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, you confirm that you are of legal age, have the capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement, and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

4.3. Single Account

  I. You are permitted to register and operate only one account. If multiple accounts are identified, we reserve the right to suspend any duplicate account.

  II.  You must not access the Service using another person’s account. If you attempt to create more than one account, whether in your own name or another name, or access the Service through someone else’s account, we may immediately close your account and restrict your future use of the Service.

  III.  Your account will be linked to your registered mobile number, and only you, as the account holder, may make deposits on the Website under your name.

4.4. Passwords

I. Your mobile number will be used as your account username. You are required to keep your login details secure and not disclose them to any third party.

II.  If your account credentials, including your username or password, are shared, disclosed, or compromised, KBET will not be responsible for any resulting claims or activity on the account. You remain fully responsible for all transactions conducted on your account and must ensure that your account information is kept strictly confidential.

4.5  Account Access and Active Sessions

4.5.1.  Your account is personal and must not be shared with any other person.

4.5.2.  KBET may permit you to access your account from more than one registered device. However, only one active betting or gaming session may be maintained on your account at any given time.

4.5.3.   Where a new login is initiated, KBET may automatically terminate or suspend any existing active session.

4.5.4.  To protect the security and integrity of the Platform, KBET may require additional identity verification, restrict account access, suspend active sessions, or take any other appropriate action where account sharing, unauthorised access, fraud, security concerns, or regulatory risks are suspected.

4.6. Personal Use Only

Our Services are intended solely for personal and non-commercial use. You acknowledge that we may monitor your gameplay and use of the Services to identify patterns that suggest professional or non-recreational activity. The use of our Services for any professional purpose is strictly prohibited.

4.7. Eligibility

Employees of the Company, as well as those of its licensees, distributors, wholesalers, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, media partners, and retailers, are not permitted to use the Service. This restriction also applies to their immediate family members. Any account found to be in breach of this provision may be terminated without notice.

4.8. Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that all information linked to your account remains accurate and up to date at all times. If any of your personal or contact details such as your address, email or phone number change, you must promptly notify us so that your account information can be updated accordingly.

4.8.1.  Inactive Accounts

  I. Your account will be deemed dormant if there is no activity for a continuous period of six (6) months. For the purposes of this clause, account activity includes any deposit, withdrawal, or placement of a bet.

  II. Where an account is classified as dormant and contains a balance exceeding ₦50,000, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you to facilitate the return of any remaining funds.

4.8.2. Self-Exclusion

You may request either a temporary or permanent exclusion from KBET at any time. For more information on the available self-exclusion options, please refer to our Responsible Gambling Policy.

You may apply a self-imposed lock on your account at any time by accessing the Responsible Gaming section of your profile once logged in. The restriction will take effect immediately.

Alternatively, you may request a temporary or permanent exclusion at any time by contacting our Customer Service.

Where a lock or self-exclusion request is made, whether via the platform or through the Customer Service Team, your account will be immediately restricted for play in accordance with our Responsible Gaming policy.

4.9. Account Refusal and Suspension

4.9.1. We reserve the right to refuse registration or to deregister, exclude, or suspend you as a customer from the Service at any time and for any reason.

4.9.2.  You agree that we are not required to provide advance notice of any decision to refuse registration, deregister, exclude, or suspend you as a customer, nor to provide reasons for such action.

4.9.3.  In the event that we deregister, exclude, or suspend you, we shall have the unrestricted right to:

4.9.3.1. Withhold any disputed funds payable to you, including deposits, refunds, bonuses, free credits, sportsbook credits, winnings, or similar amounts;

4.9.3.2. Set the requirements that must be met in order to access the Service (and your account, where applicable); and

4.9.3.3. Share information about you with law enforcement agencies (in cases involving fraud or other unlawful conduct leading to termination, deregistration, exclusion, or suspension), collection agencies, and/or internal sportsbook or casino databases, and you irrevocably authorise us to do so at our sole discretion.

6. Placing, Refusing, and Voiding Bets

6.1.  Placing Bets

A bet is only considered valid once it has been accepted by our system and a bet ID has been generated.

By placing a bet, you agree to pay for all bets successfully placed through your account.

Until a bet is accepted, no communication or action initiated by you shall be binding on KBET, and all information displayed on the platform constitutes an invitation to play only.

Once accepted:

·     Bets cannot be cancelled or amended; and

·     All valid bets will be reflected in your account history.

KBET reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, limit, or restrict any bet for any reason.

6.2. Voiding of Bets

KBET may void any bet at its discretion, including but not limited to circumstances where:

·     Fraud, manipulation, collusion, or suspicious activity is identified or suspected;

·     The bet or underlying event is suspected to be affected by integrity concerns;

·     A technical or system error has occurred, including incorrect odds or pricing;

·     Regulatory, legal, or licensing requirements necessitate such action;

·     You are found to be in breach of these Terms; or

·     You are underage or otherwise prohibited from placing bets.

Where a bet is voided, any stake deducted in respect of that bet will be refunded to your account, where applicable.

6.3.  Refusal or Limitation of Bets

KBET reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to refuse, limit, or restrict the acceptance of any bet or betting activity. This may apply before or after a bet is placed and may be based on operational, compliance, risk, or platform integrity considerations.


7.  Deposits and Withdrawals

7.1.  Deposits

7.1.1.  You may fund your account using the payment methods made available on the platform from time to time.

7.1.2.  All payment methods used must be registered in your own name. We reserve the right to verify the ownership of any payment method and the source of funds by requesting supporting documentation.

7.1.3. Where a payment method is not held in your name, or sufficient verification is not provided, we may suspend or restrict your account until verification is completed.

7.1.4.  If we determine that funds have been deposited from a third-party source, we reserve the right to return such funds to the original payment method and take any further action deemed appropriate, including restrictions or closure of the account.

7.1.5.  KBET does not charge fees for deposits; however, third-party provider charges may apply.

7.1.6.   Minimum and maximum deposit limits may apply depending on the selected payment method.

7.2. Use of Account

7.2.1. Your account is provided solely for the purpose of participating in betting activities on the platform and must not be used as a banking facility.

7.2.2. Deposits are intended for wagering purposes only. Where account activity indicates that funds are being deposited without genuine betting activity, we reserve the right to investigate, restrict, or suspend the account.

7.2.3.   Funds held in your account do not accrue interest.

7.3. Withdrawals

7.3.1.  You may request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time, subject to these Terms.

7.3.5.3.   The withdrawal request is inconsistent with normal betting behaviour, including attempts to transfer funds without genuine play.

7.4.  Verification and Due Diligence

7.4.2.  You may be required to provide documentation including, but not limited to:

7.4.3.  Failure to provide requested documentation may result in account restrictions, including the suspension of withdrawals.

7.5. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals

7.5.1. You must not initiate chargebacks, reversals, or cancellations of any deposit made to your account.

7.5.2. Where such actions occur, we reserve the right to recover any associated costs, fees, or losses from your account and to take further action, including account suspension or closure.

7.6. Payment Integrity and Controls

7.6.2.  We may reverse or adjust transactions where errors are identified.

7.6.3.  We may withhold or offset funds where amounts are owed to us.

7.7. Taxes

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1.2.  This includes, without limitation, all intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademarks, trade names, logos, software, databases, design elements, layout, structure, and overall look and feel of the platform.

8.1.3.  Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the platform or its content, other than a limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

8.2.  Permitted Use

8.2.1.  The platform and its content are made available for your personal, non-commercial use only.

8.2.2.  You may access and use the platform solely for the purposes intended and in compliance with these Terms.

8.2.3.   Any use beyond what is expressly permitted is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.

8.3. Restrictions on Use

8.3.1.  You must not, and must not permit or assist any third party to:

8.3.1.1.   Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform or its content;

8.3.1.2.   Distribute, publish, transmit, or display any content for commercial purposes;

8.3.1.3.   Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with any software forming part of the platform;

8.3.1.4.   Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or branding; or

8.3.1.5.    Use the platform or its content in any way that infringes our rights or those of our licensors.

8.4.  Trademarks

8.4.1.  All KBET-related names, logos, and branding elements are the property of KBET or its licensors.

8.4.2.  You are not granted any rights to use such trademarks except as necessary for the permitted use of the platform in accordance with these Terms.

8.5. Enforcement

8.5.1.  KBET and its licensors reserve the right to enforce their intellectual property rights to the fullest extent permitted by law.


9. Disclaimers and No Warranty

9.1. General Disclaimer

9.1.1.  The platform and its services are offered as they are available. KBET will use reasonable care and skill in providing them but does not guarantee their performance or continuous availability.

9.1.2.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, all representations, warranties, or conditions, whether express or implied, are excluded, including but not limited to those relating to quality, fitness for purpose, accuracy or completeness.

9.2. Use of Information

9.2.1. Any information, data, or content made available on the platform is provided for general informational purposes only.

9.2.2. Such information does not constitute advice or recommendation and should not be relied upon when placing bets, which are made at your own discretion and risk.

9.3. Platform Availability and Performance

9.3.1.  KBET does not warrant that the platform or services will:

9.3.1.1.     Meet your specific requirements;

9.3.1.2.     Be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors;

9.3.1.3.     Be free from technical faults, delays, or inaccuracies; or

9.3.1.4.     Have all defects corrected immediately.

9.3.2.  We do not guarantee that the platform, its servers, or any supporting systems are free from viruses, bugs, or other harmful components.

9.4. Technical Issues and Interruptions

9.4.1. KBET shall not be responsible for any interruption, delay, or failure in service caused by technical issues, including system malfunctions, connectivity problems, or external service disruptions.

9.4.2.  You are responsible for ensuring that your own systems and devices are adequately protected and compatible for use with the platform.

9.5. Changes and Suspension

9.5.1. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform or services at any time, with or without notice, where necessary.

9.5.2.  Where possible, we will take reasonable steps to restore services within a reasonable timeframe following any interruption.


10.  Errors, Malfunctions and Adjustments

KBET strives to ensure that all information, odds, and services are accurate and operate without interruption. However, errors or technical issues may occur.

10.1. Interruptions

KBET is not liable for downtime, delays, or disruptions caused by system issues, network failures, or third-party providers. Affected bets may be suspended or voided where necessary.

10.2. Manifest Errors

A manifest error refers to any clear and obvious mistake, including incorrect odds, lines, markets, or settlements, as well as bets accepted under improper conditions.

Where such an error occurs, KBET reserves the right to void the affected bet (in full or in part) or re-settle it at the correct terms.

10.3. System Malfunctions

In the event of a system failure affecting bet placement or settlement, KBET may declare affected bets void. Voided bets will be settled at odds of 1.00 (stake returned for single bets, adjusted for multiples).

10.4. Incorrect Credits

If funds are credited to a customer’s account in error, KBET reserves the right to reverse the transaction, recover any overpaid amounts, and void any bets placed using such funds. Customers must report any discrepancies promptly.

10.5. Abuse of Errors

Any attempt to exploit errors or system issues may result in bets being voided, winnings forfeited, and/or account suspension or closure.

10.6. Liability and Records

KBET shall not be liable for losses resulting from errors or technical issues. In the event of any dispute, KBET’s system records shall be final.


11.  Restricted Betting Behaviour (Prohibited Activities)

This platform is designed for fair and responsible betting. Any cheating, abuse, or unfair conduct may result in restrictions, suspension, or closure of the betting account.

11.1. Restricted Behaviour

The following actions are not permitted:

·       Using bugs, glitches, or system errors to gain an advantage

·       Using bots, scripts, automation tools, or artificial intelligence to place bets or interact with the platform;

·       Attempting to hack, access, or interfere with systems, servers, or security controls;

·       Using VPNs or similar tools to bypass location or jurisdiction restrictions;

·       Manipulating or attempting to influence game or betting outcomes;

·       Colluding with others or participating in match fixing;

·       Engaging in fraud, illegal activity, or any criminal conduct;

·       Carrying out abusive chargebacks or payment reversals;

·       Disrupting the platform or attempting to bypass security or risk controls;

·       Placing bets in a way that is unfair, abusive, or linked to bonus misuse, including hedge betting or low-margin betting used to exploit promotions.

11.2. Action We May Take

Where any of the above occurs, we may take action including:

·     Suspending or closing the betting account;

·     Cancelling or voiding bets;

·     Freezing funds during investigation;

·     Reporting the matter to relevant authorities where required.

11.3. Fraudulent Payments

If fraudulent or suspicious payment activity is detected, we may:

·     Block the account;

·     Reverse transactions and winnings;

·     Recover any related losses;

·     Report to banks, payment providers, or authorities where necessary.

11.4. Irregular Betting Review

Before withdrawals are processed, betting activity may be reviewed. Where irregular patterns are identified, bets or winnings may be voided, adjusted, or withheld pending review.


12.  Account Suspension, Restriction and Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, limit access to the services, and/or cancel any bets placed, at any time where deemed necessary.

Such action may be taken without prior notice and without an obligation to provide reasons, subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

12.1. Account Queries

12.1.1.  If you identify any issue or discrepancy relating to your account, you are responsible for notifying us promptly and providing all relevant information to assist with our review.

12.2. Treatment of Account Balances

12.2.1.  Where an account is suspended or terminated, any remaining balance will be dealt with in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

12.2.2.  We may withhold, restrict, or delay access to funds where:

·    An investigation is ongoing;

·    There is suspected breach of these Terms;

·    The account is linked to suspicious, fraudulent, or unlawful activity; or

·     We are required to do so by law or regulatory instruction.

12.2.3.  Bonus funds or promotional credits may be forfeited where applicable.

12.3. Prohibited Conduct

12.3.1.  You must use your account in good faith and strictly for its intended purpose as a personal betting account.

12.4.  Without limitation, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

·     Operating multiple or duplicate accounts;

·     Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information;

·     Allowing third parties to access or use your account;

·     Engaging in collusion, coordinated betting, or unfair play;

·     Attempting chargebacks or reversing valid transactions;

·     Participating in fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive conduct;

·     Breaching any applicable laws or these Terms.
